Episode 15 - The Wonderful World of Multitrack Recording

Finally back with another episode. It's been literally YEARS! Sorry about that, life gets in the way. Finishing what I started with my "making of" series. This is album 4 of 5 so we're almost done with this series. The last and final episode of this "making of" series will hopefully be coming soon. Thanks for listening!

Episode 14 - Guitar Practice 2 - Live From my bedroom!

This is the second guitar practice that I broadcasted on Facebook live. It has some mistakes, and I didn't have a drink so my voice probably could be better. However, it is a practice, which is where these mistakes belong. I hope these mini "concerts" help to fill in the gaps between "proper episodes". I hope you enjoy it, I'll  be doing more of these in the future. Thanks!

Episode 13 - Guitar Practice - Live from my bedroom!

I just realized that I didn't post any new episodes at all in 2016. I haven't done any this year either, but I did start recording the making of The wonderful world of multitrack recording. I have started to broadcast my guitar practices live on facebook. For those of you who can't access it there, or who just never have, I'm posting them here too. I hope you'll enjoy it. Because of the nature of this podcast, it doesn't have any introduction or anything. I'll make the future ones a little more "official". Thanks for listening and stay tuned for the completion of my "Making Of" series.

Episode 12 - The Making of Never Say Die

Happy Thanksgiving! This is the latest in my "making of" series. This time, I'm discussing the making of my 3rd album NEVER SAY DIE. I give you a glimpse into some of the stories behind the songs and also the way that I wrote and recorded them. There are also some anecdotes about some of my musician friends. How does Mike Caldarera fit in to one of the live performances of one of these songs? Were AJ and Karl from Groovenics and Suicide City slated to be guests on this album? How was it received upon release? Listen to find out!

Episode 11 "The Making of Tales From Tourmaline"

Welcome to the 1st episode of 2015! In this episode I play my second album "Tales from Tourmaline" in its entirety and discuss the stories and experiences behind each song. Unfortunately I could not access the original recordings so I had to go with the 2nd version of this album, which in my opinion is sub par to the original. However, some of you may not have heard both versions or may have never heard either one. In this case, you will get an opportunity to hear some different recordings from my catalog. I hope you enjoy the show. If you have any requests or suggestions for future shows, I'd love to hear them! Send them to undertheradarpc@gmail.com or tweet them @undertheradarpc. Thanks!

Episode 10 - The making of "McLeod"

It's been forever but I'm back! Sorry for the absence, I hope you're as excited for this return as I am. For the next five episodes I am going to give you a behind the scenes all access pass into the making of my five albums. We begin with my first album "McLeod". On this episode I play the album in its entirety and discuss each song one by one. I answer questions such as "Where did the title McLeod come from" and explain the meanings behind the songs. All of this is leading up to my retrospective album which will feature 12 songs from each of my albums re recorded in full studio quality. If you've been following along this whole time, you may gain some new insight, and if you've never heard my music before, this is a great opportunity to get familiar with it and catch up. Check it out!

Episode 9 - Brian Russell Part 2

This week I continue my interview with my good friend Brian Russell. It's been a while in between episodes, I hope you haven't been missing the show too much. I'll try to update more frequently going forward. If you like what you hear, please spread the word!
